*** Early Bird Sale on for a limited time only! ***
Interactive Workshop for Parents/carers | 6 weeks (1 hour per week)
Conflict is an unavoidable and necessary part of life but it can be managed so that everyone’s needs are met. During this 6-week course, we will take an in depth look at the different aspects of a toolkit for developing a needs-based approach to communicating effectively within families. Each week, focussing on a different aspect, participants can bring questions, queries, conflict or examples and workshop these situations in a supportive and non-judgmental setting.
We will focus on:
Embracing conflict
Power sharing
Needs-based communication
Conflict resolution
Family meetings
Making agreements
Artemis D. Bear is a parent and experienced educator, who has been working with young people to build relationships and resolve conflict in a needs-based and non-hierarchical way for over four years.
Sarah Ridgeon is a primary school teacher with an MSc in the Psychology of Education. She supports the young people she works with to resolve conflict using needs-based communication and has recently completed research into the moral development of children in an unconditional, non-hierarchical education setting.
Each session will take place on a Sunday evening from 7pm-8pm and be held online, using Zoom
