Project-Based Learning

Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. It allows your child to delve deep into their current passion, whether it is Ancient Greece, dolphins or Minecraft. The beauty of this method is that the learning can go in many different directions - what starts as a project on princesses might include mathematics to work out how long Rapunzel’s hair is, engineering to design a way to get her down from her tower and history to discover what era her dress is from.
Bean Learning mentors can help your child find that spark of inspiration, or develop an idea they already have. By supporting your child through a process in a flexible and respectful way, our mentors will pave the way from a big idea, to bite-sized goals, to self-reflection and completion.
Arts Award

We are proud to be an accredited Arts Award Centre delivering Discover, Explore, Bronze and Silver awards with experienced educators via Zoom.
You child will love the freedom of an Arts Award because they will have autonomy around how they express themselves and what they choose to focus on. This makes Arts Awards ideal for young people who prefer a more self-directed learning style.
