Teen Yoga! Monday 12 October 2020 (6.30pm-7.30pm BST)
This class is all about reducing stress and gaining strength and flexibility, with fun, flowing sequences to warm up the body, followed by long-held restorative yoga postures. There will also be breath work, relaxation techniques and short meditations.
Similar to a beginner-level adult yoga class, this session provides a safe and comfortable space where teens can practice yoga with others around their age.
Benefits:
Builds social confidence as teenagers interact with kindred spirits
Improves self-confidence through breathing techniques and encouraging participants to use their voices
Releases day-to-day anxieties such as separation issues, bullying, lethargy and feelings of negativity
Offers a space for teenagers to express their emotional state in a physical way

Improves concentration levels
All our sessions are inclusive so all bodies are welcome. No requirement to have previous yoga experience. Please let us know when you book if the participant has any injuries or conditions which may affect their yoga practice, this allows Janine to suggest modifications where appropriate. No previous experience of yoga or specialist equipment is necessary
