Yoga for Families

Yoga, with its breathing and relaxation techniques, helps calm and still the mind. It offers a wonderful way to help increase concentration, self-awareness and self-esteem, while strengthening bodies, boosting stamina and helping develop good posture and coordination.
This yoga session is for parents/carers and children ages 5-12 years old. Age appropriate yoga poses, partner and group poses encourage family bonding time all while building confidence and self-esteem.
This session is designed to develop strength, balance and flexibility in all ages and abilities. It encourages physical interaction, trust and bonding between parents, children and siblings in a calm, creative space.
This session will include:
Art
Mindfulness
Yoga games and postures
All our sessions are inclusive so all bodies are welcome. Please let us know when you book if any of the participants have any injuries or conditions which may affect their yoga practice, this allows Janine to suggest modifications where appropriate. No previous experience of yoga or specialist equipment is necessary
